Privacy

The Mini-Sentinel pilot places high priority on ensuring the privacy of individual health information. Direct identifiers, such as name, date of birth, and address, are removed before information is sent to the Mini-Sentinel Operations Center or the FDA. The FDA, the Mini-Sentinel Coordinating Center, and Collaborators adhere to federal and state privacy-related laws and regulations.
